ABOUT US
We Are Bike Kids is dedicated to supporting underprivelaged youth find success in life through the joy of riding a bicycle. Our Youth Mentor Program gives select students the ability to work one-on-one with a mentor who helps guide them into becoming young adults. Students are also given the opportunity to better themselves while gaining riding opportunities with our School Outreach Program and our Community Rides Program.
Additional Needs
It takes a village to make We Are Bike Kids a success and while a monetary donation and volunteers are always welcome, we have many other needs. Please contact us if you can donate any of the following items.
Weekly Dinner
We meet and provide dinner every Thursday evening for the kids and staff. This is an amazing opportunity for us to interact with the kids, get to know them better, and bond together over a great meal.
Televisions 65" or Larger
Our weekly interactive lessons utilize multimedia and we are looking for two or three large televisions to help students have the best experience possible.
Chromebooks / Laptops
Education is a large part of our program and we could use Chromebooks and Laptops to help our students complete their schoolwork. Many of them are taking online school and do not have access to those classes outside of their home. We would like to have the ability to help them while they are with us.
